After weeks of being away from my blog and sharing with you, the consensus has been screaming I miss your blog. It’s truly amazing the different groups of people whom have come forward and spoken about what I considered just rambling and showing my life through pictures. Well, as the world grows louder, I will return to writing and sharing on the blog however it won’t be a fashion blog because I am more than Fashion. Yesterday when I woke up for work I paused to think how blessed I am each day I get to decide which role I want to play because I wear so many hats.
My favorite roles however are Mom and woman of God. . My son is my everything and God is at the forefront of everything that I do. As the world grows louder, we become more tech savvy and our minds are invaded by everything we see or partake in. As a woman of a God I have to ensure that the distractions of society does not separate me from quality time with God. Daily prayer and meditation with praise music helps to keep me focused and in wait to sense God’s will.
In writing this I just wanted to share that it is God’s will for me to share my pictures and words with the world. When you learn to trust God it makes a difference in your life and no matter when the world seems to be caving in, you will have an anchor, yes God will be your support. That’s right God’s love and support never changes. Turn to him for strength and support in all your endeavors.
So after work it was a birthday celebration for my high school friend Mourine and as women of God and business partners we all had a great time at the Mall and dinner. Being a woman of God is not boring. We all have fun looking our best and live full normal lives, we just made the choice to walk with God and surround ourselves with like minded people. We are women of God, we are created to Flourish, therefore we uplift each other because we Love God more than I love polka dots!! Welcome Back, I missed you also!!!
Hey Loves A 👧friend once told me ” one of my coworkers hates polka dots” and I remember saying oh no!! that’s impossible polka dots are so fashionable and a must have in every diva’s closet.
Ooooh yeah! The weather is warming up nicely and I must say I am looking forward to trends as well as mixing and matching all my favorite pieces. Lately I have discovered that I have a passion for polka dots, no matter what size dots or what article of clothing as long as its available in polka dot I just gotta have it. Recently on a trip from Texas I saw a diva rocking her cable knit sweater over a polka dot blouse with leggings and I was so inspired to recreate the look. So up early and getting ready for church I decided it would be a cable knit and polka dot kind of day .
You too can recreate this fresh stylish look by pairing an old cable knit sweater with a polka dot top or dress that you think you have worn just about too many times. That’s right I retrieved my cable knit sweater from the I won’t wear this anymore pile. I must say I am in awe at this fashionable statement as I truly love polka dots no matter what color dots I rock them. Offset the dots with bling of course Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry bling bold large navy and silver bling creates a contrast on top of the brick red cable knit knit sweater. As always looking good means feeling good, if you can recreate and pull off this outfit then I know you are feeling good and ready for spring too!!!

Do you love Polka Dots? Well polka dots should be every girls best friend, they are made of various size dots and you can dress them up or dress them down. Overall polka dots are fun designs. They blend well with almost any color and will transform a basic outfit into a glamorous fashionista outfit. This week I was home all day on Wednesday working then I remembered I had a dinner date with my son and his friend. School had been out and their extracurricular activities had ended so I had to hurriedly throw an outfit together. I reached for a polka dot skirt, a polka dot dress, a polka dot sweater, and a polka dot blouse, which means I was in a polka dot mood ahhhhhhh yes!!!!! this lady loves polka dots. I had to wear something polka dot with but a few minutes to spare I threw together a splash of polka dot put my hair in a ballerina bunand ran off to spend quality time with the teens.
A simple yet quick meal, Thai coconut shrimp and bang bang shrimp for appetizers then Blackened Tilapia with mango salsa served up with grilled vegetables for a meal complete with water. Yes, I skipped dessert and I passed on the wine. Afterwards I dropped the teens to youth church and went off to an online conference in a splash of polka dot feeling confident and pretty!!!!

Hey Lovely Peeps,
It’s Saturday yet out of habit I woke up at sunrise to lie in bed and read all morning. I had a scheduled meeting with event planner FaRhonda Robinson, From Beginning To End Events so when I was getting sleepy i realized i was out of time. I had to get up and rush in getting ready for our meeting. I’m excited I found a quick ensemble so I don’t have to go through the daily utterances of not having any clothes….no make up, colored jeans, a crop polka dot sweater, sequined tank top for layering, black ballet flats, oversize totes, lip gloss and my Sunnies. Made it right on time, had lunch and discussed a series of events, strategies and venues for 2013 events. This meeting sealed my calling, which has made me excited to step into 2013 in a positive light. Have you ever thought you could mix polka dots, sequin and denim together…..oh yes simply fashionable yet chic!!!
Step into 2013 ensemble:
Grey sequin tank top~Pink Rose
Grey/red polka dot crop sweater~Forever 21
Lip gloss~Juicy Apple by Clinique
This ensemble has been sitting in the closet waiting to be worn and has been on many trips without making it out of my luggage. Out of time for a meeting and here goes quick and easy step into 2013, ditched the platforms for ballerina flats. Happy Saturday, thanks for stopping by.
