As I go through my humble days I come in contact with people whom love to read my writings, which brings to reality that this blog is not about me and for that I am thankful. When something excites us, inspires us and causes us to live each day with passion then we ought to determine its significance. Therefore I will use this as a meaningful way to share with everyone, most high God and myself, I will share a little of me with all of you. On that note welcome back to my world, filled with love, peace, joy, knowledge, caring and sharing because Simply June Cares.
. I am thankful for this platform to share with everyone. Today is the beginning of stepping towards my purpose, I won’t purposely put off for tomorrow what I am able to accomplish today. May he grant you according to your hearts’ desire, and fulfill all your purpose. Psalm 20:4
It has been a minute since I have sat down to write my blog, I feel as if I have done a disservice to my followers however within the last year I have come to realize that life happens and I won’t be able to please everyone.
I have often thought of this moment when I would blog no more, I have had the pictures yet three months later I still haven’t completed the final blog. Today I wake up with the initiative to post my final blog. This has been a phenomenal experience for me to open myself up to the world from the introvert that I am. I discovered that I talk a lot through pictures and as a result I am often misunderstood.
I know my passion lies with working with children and families to ensure that they are thriving to their fullest potential after experiencing trauma and as a result I am ready to walk in my purpose which won’t allot much time for pictures and the liberty to write informative and fashionable pieces as I would love.
on that note I must say blogging is an unprecedented experience which has enriched my life in many ways from, being able to think outside of the box, considering how someone may perceive my outfit or fashion statement, writing about interesting fashion statements or controversial pieces, being ready to communicate with strangers and share myself openly oh yes there is so much more that would take forever to write. Most importantly I learned that I love to shop and shopping is an integral part of my life….sigh!!!!
on that note I wish to say so long I am extremely gleeful that I was able to partake in this experience and impacted the lives of many through fashion, pictures and writing. An unprecedented experience that I wouldn’t change for anything. However, I must choose my time wisely, pour into my calling and become the social change that I want to see. You are able to stay in touch with me via Instagram or Twitter @simply jyune or via Facebook @simply jyune dynamic styles. All good things must come to an end, wish me blessings as I embark on my journey.
Toodles my Loves
How is it going are things back to normal at work today?
Happy return to work day/cyber monday after a 5day weekend of festivities and celebrating with family. How difficult it must be to return to work. Well I guess for some people it will be and for others there wasn’t much time off. For instance I have a Home based business therefore I am always working, my website is always up and running and I answer every email, facebook, instagram, call or text about my business.
My day off Thanksgiving eve I spent a few hours browsing the mall, only because my son had to meet his friend at the mall. I don’t like shopping with the crowds or droves of people on Black Friday so when others were out shopping I was writing a 6 page business proposal and crunching numbers.
So will it be back to normal no!!! Today is cyber Monday therefore people are still shopping for holiday deals and businesses need to boost their sales as the fiscal year is upon us. Personally I don’t think there will be any normal activity until after January. America is a very commercialized country despite the recession, the increase in homelessness, the reduction of the middles class group people are shopping. Credit cards get maxed out, new people file bankruptcy, couples separate based on financial differences and the majority of the American population continue to live above their means.
That’s just my take on back to normal but after all Christmas will be but one day this year as it falls on a hump day. People will be forced to shop online more than ever as there will be little time for shopping for all the commercialized gifts. By the time normal returns it will be time for another festive and commercialized event.

Shopping tip—- don’t get caught browsing the cyber Monday sales at work they will be there when you get off work.
Thanks for stopping by, let me know if your schedule will be back to normal or how it has been interrupted by the 6week holidays.

In this technology age where we live socializing and networking is much different than our parents and their parents were used to doing. Today with all the social networks we can befriend people all over the world based on a simple #hashtag. Network questions used to be where do you work???….it’s now “What do you do?” With that change comes about network mixers where we can all meet and talk about what we do, swap business cards, share expertise and hopefully start business relationships.
This first Friday’s Network Mixer was hosted by Khadhajiah Rowe at InFusions Breakfast Bistro, Bar & Lounge in Buckhead, Atlanta.
Guests were greeted at the door by ticket takers and added to a future email or contact list and donations were collected to benefit The World Cornerstone Foundation. Guests received a goodie bag with goodies from Tu la 2 nail Salon and a few others. I must say for a first time event it netted a nice size gathering, the deejay played great music, people interacted well with each other and the food was delicious. Of course I had to eat after all the mixer was during dinner time.
My dinner: crab omelet with spinach, side of potatoes and a glass of riesling.
My meal was simply delicious I ate it all, I would definitely recommend InFusions for a meal based on the friendly courteous staff, delicious food and great ambiance.

Special drinks were served up at the bar by “Nail Tech Twins” of Tu La 2 nail Salon. …oh yeah Tu La 2 Drink Cocktail A Bit Sweet Yet Tasty And with just THE Right Zest Of liquor.
Overall it was an awesome event I look forward to network at First Friday’s and oh yes you should too. Come on out you never know who you will be able to meet or the services that you will be able to retain as topics ranged from buying and outfitting your puppies, to casting, role playing, boutique openings, showings whatever or wherever your interest lies.

This week was rather exciting, In the comfortable aura and beautiful ambiance of the Aurum Lounge, I attended a book signing for Sabrina Brie Rowe (twin sister to Sharlinda Rowe-Parker) a cute little novel about the missing piece to her puzzle. Titled “Single in the City….my passport to Boaz” she shares with her audience the story of an accomplished god fearing life without her Boaz and not being willing to settle for less than a god fearing man.
Boaz from the chapter of Ruth in the bible allows us to revisit a bible story and compare modern day relationships with those of the past. Sabrina shares stories about past relationships and what led her to God, celibacy, being single and waiting for her Boaz. While doing so she is preparing herself for Boaz with a mental list of all the qualities that she wants in her Boaz and recommends that everyone should maintain a list of
the qualities; a realistic list of the qualities that one would want in their mate.
Panel discussion about relationships
The Q & A panel was quite informative as the audience was able to ask questions in regards to relationships not necessarily for advice but to understand another person’s point of view. Males and females alike asked realistic questions and communicated respectfully. It was much better than listening to relationship experts telling you what you should do. As stated by Sabrina “Every woman is different so we all want different things.” Therefore no one should ever be told what to do

It is what it is Single in the City for myself and many other women….awaiting Boaz, the missing piece to the puzzle without having to settle for less than we know we deserve.
My outfit for this event was as always simple yet stunning. I loved this look more than most others because it also seemed fun and chic. A simple little black dress and wedge heeled calf high boots to show my appreciation for the change in the weather and a classic flap purse with beautiful fashionable jewelry. My little dress It’s just the skater dress with three quarter sleeves, loving it with the stylish side peephole, a forever dress.

I HAVE BEEN THINKING HOW TO WEAR A MAXI? However, lately I have been so busy with my scholarly writing, appreciating what’s left of my scholarly voice that I haven’t much time to write my blog, so these pics and thoughts are long overdue. Shame on me as I still love dresses, I just don’t get the time to wear them as much anymore. My amplified schedule has me enjoying one day off and I try my best to have as much fun as possible. So my new fashionable trend is the Maxi Dress…… Yes I have always loved them and watched them go in and out of style, wearing them whenever I please. This season I am delighted with the maxi dresses in stores, magazines, fashionably on bodies everywhere. Wearing a maxi is perfect with loafers, flats, sandals, wedges and pumps , it is sometimes a bit difficult in stilettos if your time wearing a maxi dress involves going up and down stairs. Therefore i prefer wedges or loafers and on occasion pumps for a dressier event. This asymmetrical floral maxi was bought 2years ago in NY at a small boutique Dids Fashion Inc. When I bought this dress my friend laughed at me and asked why did I need that dress, and when did I plan on wearing it as he pictured me wearing high end labels. Lol…I love dresses, labels or not as I wear the dresses, the dresses don’t wear me!!!
